R&R at SALT Boutique Spa

As anyone who works in the wedding industry in the Northeast understands, the winter is our time for rest and relaxation. We spend time with family, we catch up on our favorite shows, but most importantly we find time to treat ourselves. I had the absolute privilege of being invited to the Salt Boutique Spa in Middletown, RI to get a massage that would help me recover from the busy event season.
Salt Boutique Spa has different locations in the Aquidneck Island area (and beyond!). We are so lucky to have options of where we can enjoy some "me time". Salt's treatments focus on healing and rejuvenation where you can experience peace and wellness. As someone who is a small business owner and constantly on my feet moving in a million directions, having a place to turn off and be taken care of was so magical. My spa treatment was at their Middletown location which is right on the water by First Beach, aka Easton's Beach. This prime location only added to the wonderful atmosphere created inside the spa.
When you arrive, you are greeted by calming music. They gently remind you that devices are not going to be a part of your experience while you were there which is a great way to shut off and really lean into the treatment. The spa has the option to have your own individual space or join a friend or partner. It felt private, it felt comfortable, and ultimately it was more relaxing than I could have imagined. I was able to choose the scent I wanted for the diffuser which made the experience even more custom and personal.
The actual massage experience itself was dreamy, relaxing, and I left there feeling so refreshed and rejuvenated. To be completely honest-massages are not something I've always been super comfortable with. It's vulnerable and can feel weird to me. I absolutely did not feel this way at Salt Boutique. I felt safe and like I was in really good hands the whole time. I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat. After my massage, I was invited to take a seat in the comfortable waiting area and enjoyed a piece of fresh fruit, a chocolate, and a glass of citrus water. I was not rushed out and felt very welcome.
Salt Boutique is my absolute top recommendation for massages in the area. Whether you're an individual looking to relax or a group on a Bachelorette trip looking to slow down, Salt is the place to go. I absolutely cannot wait to return and this time experience their luxury sauna room. Who's with me?
